The ninth annual American Field Service ball sponsored by the Santa Ynez Valley chapter will be held Saturday night March 13 at the Veterans Memorial Building in Solvang. Proceeds support AFS exchange students and Valley students studying abroad. This year’s Bicentennial Ball features The Midnight Journeymen and a band chosen after a local contest. Reservations are urged by next Monday through Mrs. John Pool.
