World Day of Prayer observed by Valley churches

Seven local churches join in World Day of Prayer at Valley of the Flowers United Church of Christ with services at 10 am and 7 30 pm. Notables include speakers Mrs Margaret Brett and Mrs Arthur Batty. Offerings aid Christian colleges in Africa Asia and Latin America and support for migrant workers Indian Americans and new literates in 18 countries.

Rev Harris continues Old Testament sermons at Valley of the Flowers UCC

The Sunday 10:00 a.m. service at Valley of the Flowers United Church of Christ on Constellation Road will include Communion. Rev Richard E Harris delivers a continuation of the Old Testament series Sermons that Started a Revolution from Deuteronomy. A children's story Spies of the Revolution accompanies the theme. Adventists Conference Sets 500 Delegates to Soquel Session
