The House That Jack Built will be depicted in Lompoc’s Festival Parade by Cub Pack 63 under Vir ginia Reiley’s management. Mrs Merilyn Lair, chairman of the Children's Division, said Mrs Faye Porter selected Ten Little Indians as a group entry theme. Colorful costumes echoing Marjorie Hall’s spring ballet are available, as are two clever cat costumes. Borrowing options and entry telephones are through Mrs Lair at 80531.

St Marys Auxiliary Picnic in Ryden Park

Members of St Marys Womens Auxiliary held their annual June potluck in Ryden Park on a Tuesday. New officers were elected: Mrs Joe Ames president, Mrs Warren Olin first vice president, Mrs Joseph Zorba secretary, and Mrs George McCann treasurer. They planned the Second Annual Clothing Sale for August featuring used children clothing and asked for donations by calling Mrs Kenneth Adam or Mrs George McCann.

Alpha Officers to be Installed at Lompoe Club

Mrs James Mulholland will be installed as president of the Lompoe Alpha Literary and Improvement Club at the final meeting of the season on Wednesday June 20 at the Alpha clubhouse. Installing officer will be Mrs Pier Arraguy of Santa Maria past president of Santa Barbara County Federated Women's Club. Other officers to be installed include Mrs Artha Zatty first vice president Mrs Louis Huseman second vice president Mrs Richard Rudolph secretary and Mrs Frank McCall treasurer. Luncheon will be served at 1 00 p m in the clubrooms.

June Wedding of Sherry Nickerson and Howard Keshoft

The wedding took place in an Episcopal Church ceremony led by Reverend Thomas Heil. Sherry Nickerson wore white Chantilly lace and tulle, carried a white Bible, and biked with lilies of the valley and white orchids. The reception was at the Alpha Clubhouse with a three-tier cake and floral decor. The couple resides in Lompoc with the groom employed by the Lompoc Police Force.

Soldiers Complete Special Course in Mathematics

Ten members of the Branch USDB completed a six week off duty education course in mathematics. The session, taught by Maurice Mercer of Lompoc, offered high school diploma credit for some and brush up for others. Finishing students: Mercado Arnado, Richard Cole, Emilio Maldonado, Thomas Mc Laughlin, Edward Petek, David Russell, Clyde Scott, Earl Simpson, Ambrose Pena, Grindell Watson. New civics and college history classes may start June 26 and August 7, education officer Capt Warren S. Olin announced.
