VAFB Backs Salvation Army Day Camp For Fourth Year
Vandenberg Air Force Base continues support for the Salvation Army Day Camp for children ages six to twelve. The program runs in four periods through August 23 with 40 kids per period and activities at the base picnic grounds and various facilities including a C-118 walk-through and sentry dog demonstration. Registration is five dollars, but no child will be denied participation due to finances. meals funded by base-affiliated clubs.
