Arson Suspected in Harris Grade Brush Fire
A brush fire burned 60 acres two miles north of Rucker Road with evidence recovered at the scene suggesting arson. Fire crews from five county stations battled the blaze near Highway 1 for 90 minutes with three water drops. No structures were damaged and no injuries reported. Separately, Lompoc firefighters contained a four acre grass fire on Olive Avenue near Fifth Street reported at 7 p.m.
