Annual Vandenberg Village Women’s Golf Event Honors Stillman Trophy
The Vandenberg Village Country Club Women’s Golf Association held its annual tournament with Thomas Mackie as host. Norma Stillman won the first perpetual trophy donated by outgoing board members and will retain it until next year. Ann Lewis was runner-up with 40 points as winner 41, both receiving engraved medallions. Attendees included 23 ladies and 19 in play, with 43 eligible.

Santa Barbara Art Museum hosts Eastern Mediterranean lecture series
The Santa Barbara Museum of Art presents an illustrated talk on ancient Eastern Mediterranean art by curator Vern Swansen on Thursday July 23 at 2 pm in Ludington Court. Evening film program July 23 and showings July 25–26 feature color and black and white shorts about Delvaux, Appel, Parks, Rousseau and others. Admission is 85 cents for the public and 50 cents for members.
