Navy Pilot Killed in Vandenberg Training Crash
Navy pilot Cdr. Charles L. Brammeier, 47, of Pt. Mugu Naval Air Station, died when his T28 trainer crashed about two minutes after takeoff at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The incident occurred near the weather station on 13th Street. Cause remains under investigation.

Reading fund cutback wont affect district
