Fires In Lompoc Valley Cause Several Calls And A Dental Mishap
Fire crews battled two river bottom blazes east of Lompoc suspected to be spontaneous and fuelled by refuse from flower seed fields. They also checked two fires near 309 North N Street with no damage. A barley field fire near Buellton burned about four acres. A dental office motor smoke incident caused no damage. Gasoline leak from a truck at the Record site was flushed away with no fire.
