Leo Gasca entertained Lompoc High School students with a special assembly on Wednesday January 29. The South American performer greeted in Spanish and translated to English then demonstrated balancing juggling and acrobatics using safe props. He involved two volunteers for a quick juggling lesson and closed with a seven minute routine of juggling acrobatics and ring throwing.

CSF Recognition Night Set for February 5 at Lompoc HS
The California Scholarship Federation Recognition Night will be held February 5 in the Lompoc High School library from 7 30 to 9 30 p m. Freshmen earning CSF membership will be first recognized along with life members among seniors who meet CSF standards in four of the first six semesters. Life members wear a gold tassel at graduation. Speaker is Art Timmer assistant superintendent of instruction for the Lompoc School District. Public welcome followed by a social hour and refreshments.
