Mothers March set for birth defects
The Mother's March door bell ringing campaign for the March of Dimes is planned for tomorrow from late afternoon until 9 p.m. Volunteers are still being sought as local groups, men, and teenagers join the effort. Since 1958 the March of Dimes has funded over 100 Birth Defect Centers and issued scholarships. last spring two Lompoc Cabrillo High School graduates received $400 scholarships and are now nursing students at Los Angeles County General Hospital.
