Brooklyn gunmen surrender after hostage siege ends

Four Muslim gunmen who seized 12 hostages at John and Al's sporting goods in Brooklyn surrendered after a two day standoff. A patrolman was killed in the shootout and two officers wounded. The gunmen released three hostages during the weekend and were booked on murder and robbery charges.

Three Suspects Arrested In Grandin Banker Killings

Three men Dallas Delay Lloyd Cowin and Jerry Rector aged 33 21 and 22 are charged with three counts of first degree murder in the slayings of Grandin banker Robert Kitterman his wife Bertha and their daughter Roberta. Evidence tied to a garage blast and a fake bomb scene near Van Buren supports the case.

Defense to recall former FBI agent in bugging case

Defense attorneys cross examine Alfred C. Baldwin III who testified he was hired by James W. McCord Jr. to bug Democratic National Committee phones. McCord supplied wire tapping equipment as Liddy and Hunt's charges loom, with five defendants having pleaded guilty. California now leads New York in value added by manufacture with about 30 billion dollars in output and 1.52 million workers across roughly 30,000 plants. New York reports 38,000 plants and 1.61 million workers producing around 29 billion in value added.

Marcos era crackdown as troops disperse protest masses

In Manila troops dispersed two protest masses near churches, arresting at least 46 people amid reports they carried homemade bombs. Navy prepares $16 million counter claims against Litton
