Retirements Honor Burpee Co Couple After Long Service

George Serres 75 retired Dec 31 from Burpee Co after 31 years in production and harvest roles. His wife Cecelia retired 5 years earlier after 27 years in the greenhouse. A retirement dinner at the Royal Coach honored the couple with Walter Manfrina and coworkers present.

Confraternity Pre-School Program at CCW Meeting

La Purisima Council of Catholic Women will hear a brief presentation on the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine preschool program at the January 22 meeting.
