Four swimmers needed to keep pool open at Lompoc
The Lompoc Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously approved keeping the municipal pool open for the full posted hours if more than four patrons pay before 8 p.m. Under the old rule the pool closed if fewer than 10 paid by 8 p.m. The new rule aims to avoid midweek closures and expand adult usage while limiting losses.
