Olson decries NCAA rules as Long Beach hit with probation
Long Beach State coach Lute Olson criticized NCAA communication and called for clear recruiting guidelines and penalties. The NCAA placed the 49ers on indefinite probation, barring postseason play for at least three years, and limited scholarships to two basketball and twenty football for the next year.
