Grand Jury Resolves on Interference in Santa Barbara County
The 1972 Santa Barbara County Grand Jury adopted a resolution addressing judicial interference in the case of resigning pathologist Dr. Lawrence McAlpine. Obituary for Charles Baine Isaacson and Earl P. Cully
Graveside services for Charles Baine Isaacson 61 will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery Ballard. He died Saturday at El Charro Ranch Santa Ynez area and is survived by his widow Esther three sons and mother with Heart Association donations requested in his memory. Funeral services were held yesterday in Heartland Maine for Earl P. Cully 53 a former Lompoc coach and Air Force veteran with survivors in Maine donations to the Heart Fund.

Two hurt in separate weekend traffic accidents
Two people were injured in weekend traffic incidents. Michael Braun, 21, of Mission Hills, suffered a severe leg injury on Rucker Road and was listed in satisfactory condition at Vandenberg Air Force Base Hospital after his car hit a power pole and flipped, causing a 50 minute blackout for about 2,000 homes. Andrew T. Petersen, 58, of Buellton, sustained minor injuries in a collision on Highway 246 with Jose Ruiz, 17, of Santa Ynez. Petersen was treated at Santa Ynez Valley Community Hospital.
