Voter registrations in Santa Barbara drop. 22,000 cancelled
More than 22,000 Santa Barbara County registrations were cancelled for not voting in the November general election. The election office will issue re registration cards valid 60 days to sign and return to restore eligibility for spring municipal and school elections. County totals show 124,631 registered voters with party splits and district tallies, including Democrats leading in most districts.
