Castro Says Soviet Union Refines Cuba Debt For 13 Years
Cuban Premier Fidel Castro announced Moscow will refinance Cuba debt with a 13 year payment period and extended credits totaling up to 390 million dollars for three years. The talks, held during USSR anniversary celebrations, also cover sugar and nickel sales through 1980 at above market prices and 300 million rubles in aid for diverse economic projects.

Bronner laid to rest after fraternity abandonment tragedy
Fred Bronner age 21, a Pierce College Chi Chi Chi member, was buried in Los Angeles after authorities said he was left stranded by three fraternity brothers near an Angeles National Forest cliff.
