County Treasurer reports record county revenues in 1969
The office of County Treasurer Edward A. McMillan reports a 1969 record income of $2,383,213 and $1,105,549 for the first half of the 1969 70 fiscal year ending June 30. The board credits sparse money supply and prudent management of deposits. A $900,000 windfall helped hold the tax rate at $2.32 and avert a levy increase.
