volunteers brighten Lompoc Hospital patients with nuts and bolts band

The Nuts and Bolts band performed music and novelty acts for convalescing patients at Lompoc Hospital on Friday the 13th. Pearl Price, Jim Kirkland, Ruby Civish, Elizabeth and Robert Naismith showcased specialty numbers before group singing and valentines. The Visiting Nurse Service sponsors the Cheer volunteers under Joyce Lakey R.N. and Mrs. Seymour Okun coordinates help after 6 p.m. at 6 6444.

Diane Doyle Becomes Mrs Crowder in Vandenberg Chapel

Diane Elizabeth Doyle wed David James Crowder in a mid afternoon Catholic ceremony on Sunday February 8 at Vandenberg Chapel. Officiating was Father Robert E Cheesman. Attendants included matron of honor Mrs Euclid Black and bridesmaids Miss Peggy Doyle Miss Beth Crowder. Best man Steve Irving and ushers Michael Coccaro Howard Fletcher.
