Baby born aboard Pan American jet over the Pacific

On Pan American flight 846 from Tokyo to San Francisco a three hour old girl, Anna Maria Victoria Romero, was born midair. Passenger counts rose to 123 with the newborn as mother Dr Roberta Romero, 30, and infant were rushed to hospital after the ambulance met the jet at SFO.
