Club Arcturus Social Event Debuts In Lompoc

A formal benefit launch for the newly organized Club Arcturus drew Mayor MacClure and city officials, local and state club representatives, and charter members. The event supported Lompoc Boys and Girls Clubs with music by The Moonlighters and performances by the Hudson Studio Dancers and Kay LaRue.

A Lambda Omega Pi Beta Sigma Phi event at Allan Hancock featured two college students and two adults discussing youth morals. Planned Parenthood hosted while adults sponsor couple Mr and Mrs Richard Marsh moderated. Fundraising for the Lompoc YMCA accompanied the program.

Sorority Couples Dine Ahead of Progressive Dinner

Xi Lambda Iota members and spouses paced the evening with a cocktail hour at the Ly singer home 1033 N O St Champagne punch and shrimp cocktails opened the night. Jim Mills Gartelman and Beard homes hosted salad spaghetti wine and bread and coffee and punch followed by a cultural program on National Parks.

Saturday Bride Is Shower Honor For Crystal Chapman

DeMolay Club Names Officers for Coming Year

Recently elected officers of the Mesa DeMolay Club, sponsored by Lompoc Lodge 262 F and AM, will serve the coming year. Mike Godden is president, Joe Immel vice president, Andy Jennings secretary treasurer, with Pete Schoonover as chapter advisor. Meetings occur semi monthly in Knights of Pythias Hall and will move to the new Masonic Lodge on East Fir Ave.
