Hunt in Los Padres with David Anderson and His Hounds
A Lompoc man, 32, carpenter David Anderson hunts with two to four trained hounds in Los Padres National Forest near Arroyo Grande. The trip ends without a varmint, as winds and terrain hinder scenting but Anderson recalls past packs treed 81 bobcats and 40 foxes with his dogs.

Kissinger pledged quick negotiations while protests outside the talks grew with chants against the U S and the Panamanian foreign minister signed an eight point statement guiding the talks. Morey Bell will meet Panamanian officials to discuss replacing the 1903 pact that granted U S perpetual control. The principles outline a two part handover of the canal.
