Accident injures two in Miguelito Park collision
George Massiatte Jr., 19, of Vandenberg Air Force Base, suffered a scalp laceration and Lupe Guerrero, 25, of 220 Cypress Avenue, was under observation at Lompoc Hospital after a traffic crash in Miguelito Park yesterday. Massiatte, treated at the base hospital, was released. CHP reports he lost control, striking a tree. Guerrero’s car sustained major damage.

Obituaries Rachel Holt and John Hagelin
Rachel Holt 77 died yesterday at Lompoc District Hospital. Services are at St Marys Episcopal Church Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. She was a schoolteacher for 25 years, born May 30 1892 in Greene New York. Survivors include son David Holt of Lompoc and daughter Nancy Miller of River Forest Illinois. John Hagelin 84 died yesterday at Lompoc District Hospital. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Earp and Sons Mortuary Kansas City Missouri with interment Mt Washington Cemetery. He was born October 16 1874 in Sweden and was an engineer before retirement. Survivors include daughters Genevieve Payne and Ellen Ross and sons Guy Holbrook and Cecil Holbrook. Local arrangements by McPeek Family Mortuary.
