Relay team sets record in final all com er meet
Lompoc Athletic Club quartet Blanchard Brickner Garife and Dixon set a meet mark in the 440 yard relay at Hancock College in the high school division of the final winter all com er track meet. Blanchard won the 70 yard high hurdles and high jump. Garife captured a 100 yard heat. Lompoc also won the mile relay and Ward won shot put. Cummings of Riverside broke the high school 2 mile record with 4 33 2 while San Barbara’s Simonds had the previous mark.
