Jews Work Christmas Eve To Help Christians In Milwaukee

Albert Rosen, 53, a Jew from Temple Emmanu-El Brotherhood, will work Christmas Night as a disc jockey to allow Christians in Milwaukee to observe the holiday. About 300 Jews nationwide will fill in for Christian workers this season. Last year Rosen also subbed for a bartender and found the experience exhausting yet rewarding as he pursued a radio announcing dream. Alfred Jacobs, ward clerk at St Michael's Hospital, will also work Christmas Night, stressing that giving of oneself carries greater meaning than money.
