Inmate College Program Expands at UCSB Lompoc Prison
The Residential Study-Release Program at UCSB, first in the United States for federal inmates to study away from prison, grows from 11 men and two women to 20. Participants from Lompoc Terminal Island and San Pedro prisons live in Isla Vista while pursuing upper division work with campus support and occasional furloughs.
