Open House Shows New Acquisitions at Lompoc Society
The Lompoc Valley Historical Society hosts a Sunday open house at Fabing McKay Spanne House from 2 to 5 p m with new acquisitions on display. A 36 by 60 inch wool rug donated by Carmen McIntosh supports the Historical Landmark Restoration Fund and will be awarded Sept 2. Restoration Fund coordinator is Frances Bodger. Lompoc Legacy subscriptions rise from 2 to 2 50 to cover costs. Reservations for the Sept 2 combined annual dinner are with Mrs Earl Calvert or Mrs Jack Brandon.

Lom poc Valley District schedules a Sept 12 to Oct 22 contract bridge marathon to raise funds for the American Red Cross. Players must partner, pay $5 entry, and compete in groups with 10 dollar prizes for group winners. A playoff offers 25 and 15 for top honors with 20 hands per session.

Eight Day West Coast Choreography Conference Return
Sue Dalton of The School of Ballet and students Carol Diaz Cheryl Clees and Sally Humble returned from eight days at the West Coast Craft of Choreography Conference held at Dominican College San Rafael.
