Fire blamed on short circuit damages car in city
Fire officials cited a short circuit for a blaze that caused an estimated 50 dollars of damage to a car owned by Carol Repsher at 816 N. O Street. The fire, confined to the engine, occurred in the 1400 block of North H Street at 5 30 p.m. A chemical fire at Sudden Ranch threatened a railroad boxcar loaded with fertilizer as crew members detached the burning car from the train.
