Four Generations Honor Mrs Lucy Main at Lompoc Club BBQ

Lucy Main age 89 celebrated with four generations and 38 family members at a Johns Manville Club barbecue. Attendees included her daughter Evelyn Rivaldi and son-in-law Attilio Rivaldi. The event highlighted family ties from Goleta to Lompoc with relatives from Fillmore Arcata and Santa Barbara.

Denton Blades Weds Dorothy Gillick in Napa Ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Denton Duane Blades exchanged vows at Napa Methodist Church in an April ceremony attended by about 100 guests. The bride, Dorothy Gillick of Napa, wore a lace panel gown with yellow floral accents. the couple plans a wedding trip in pink and beige attire. The groom works as manager of Starbuck Mortuary, and both families celebrated at the Arts and Crafts Building at the fairgrounds.

Lam High School Band entertains Rivere Country Club crowd

The Lam High School Dance Band directed by Jerry Weekly performed at the April luncheon of the Community Woman's Club in Rivere Country Club. Ione Dunn opened with a POW tribute reading. Guests included Mabel Feistel Beulah Smith Arnella Mack and Pearl Price who joined as a member. Next events include Busy Bee crafts sale and clown doll making on April 25 at the Community Hall Maple Ave and J St and a Garden Section luncheon at Marge Eickhoff's home. Reservations via Geneva Moreland. A Travel Section bus trip to Universal City Studios is planned for May 24 with reservations to Ione Dunn.
