First Baptist Church outlines Palm Sunday service on Sunday at 11 am themed On The Way to the Peace Table with Rev. Earl R. Berg and chancel choir directed by Halda Marshall. Evening service at 7 pm features Crucifixion and Resurrection slides prepared by Forest Lawn Cemetery. Youth trip to Jiquilpan planned for Sunday afternoon to roof a church and lay a cement floor. Methodists to Welcome Youth Members At Local Church

The First United Methodist Church at 925 North F St will receive a youth membership class this Sunday during a 10:30 a.m. worship service after a 9:15 a.m. church school session. An Arroyo Grande Work Camp organizational meeting is set for Monday at 7:30 p.m. and other church events include a Tuesday council planning session and a Thursday United Methodist Women meeting at 11:30 a.m. A Maundy Thursday Holy Communion service with an Agape meal follows at 7:30 p.m. Easter Sunday offers two services at 9:18 and 10:45 with child care for younger children.
