State Police barracks to move from Lancaster to Harrisburg

After six years at Lancaster Troop E State Police barracks on the New Holland pike will likely relocate to Harrisburg in the coming months. Superintendent Major Lynn G. Adams says the move is prompted by inadequate current facilities. The State Highway Patrol, now headquartered in Lancaster since last September, will also relocate with a sub station to be established locally. Shad runs slow due to cool weather and high Tollwood water. No big hauls reported except Danny Bunkle and Isaac Kauffman who each caught fish last week, spurring others to fish with little success.
