Strange bird found in Lititz surprises residents
A rare Gallinule or Moorhen, native to Florida, appeared at the home of Clayton Keith on North Cedar Street in Lititz. The shy, red-headed bird, larger than a pigeon, swims without webbed feet and perches on shoulders. It has not eaten yet, and may have escaped captivity.
