The Lititz Gun Club has moved its trap from the baseball diamond to the field west of the water works. A new trap house of concrete has been built and tested satisfactorily. Contests will be staged later in blue rock shooting with gunners from neighboring towns. The structure should last for many years.

Wayne Longenecker Remembers May 1 Battle at Manila Bay

Fishermen land forty nine white fish at Middle Creek
Five Lititz anglers including Lloyd Weitzel Homer Sturgis Lewis Haines Isaac Pfautz and Clarence Sturgis fished Middle Creek on Saturday landing forty nine white fish up to sixteen inches long. The catch yielded gamey fish that bite like bass and take live bait.

Springs Hotel Stable Sold At Public Sale

Chinese Nut Tree Blooms After Twenty-Year Wait

The 999 mile trip followed a 420 mile haul from home and included two dogs in the Ford. Mr Worder wished for one more mile for a thousand.

The Keystone Oil and Gas Station on Front Street will be sold next week after a Pittsburgh court granted the right. Local stockholders, who provided most of the capital, will be frozen out though the contract required local subscribers to be satisfied before sale. About fifteen thousand dollars was subscribed to build the one room gas station, with many stockholders also paying extra on notes they were tricked into signing.
