Legion meeting in Le Mars on Sept 16 was led by County Commander Gaynor Hartis and adjutant John Schushard with 45 members present. Committees named for the Fall Convention at Akron, Sept 29, including Sonny Becker on Resolution, Harold Mulford and Fritz Hall on By-Laws and Time and Place, plus a highway safety lecture by Harold Mulford. Plymouth County backed a speed unit in town to enforce 30 mph at night.
