Community Guests Gather for Birthday and Wedding Anniversary
Kingsley area guests attended a supper at Mr. and Mrs. Purtmann’s Pierson home in honor of Mr. Pitt and a sister’s wedding anniversary. Attendees included Mr. and Mrs. Myron Karsten, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Peterson, Mrs. Donald Dennis of Des Moines, and extended family. The weekend brought visits with relatives, church events, and school sports updates, including Kingsley Bomber teams starting basketball practice. Weather notes cite a snowy, cloudy week with city mild days and multiple temperatures recorded.
