Gem Specimen Show Presented by Sioux Valley section
The Sioux Valley Section of the American Chemical Society meets at Westmar College at 400 pm on Saturday May. Dr Ro Mor ris Shreve will lecture on Gems and Their Beautifying Aspects. He heads Purdue and the Taiwan Project with Free Chinese on Formosa. Shreve, an honored figure with many publications, patents, and organic technology research, will share his gem collecting hobby with about 5 000 specimens. A Free Birthday Dance follows at Margo 1 on Saturday May with music from a Singers band and dance opportunities.
