Rambler Prize Car Heads Le Mars Parade Drive
The Rambler gasoline economy caravan visited Le Mars at noon. The Rambler will be awarded by the Le Mars Drum and Bugle Corp at the Memorial day benefit dance on May 30. Dick Munsuen directed the drive as a key organizer. Tickets for the dance include a chance to win the Rambler. The event at the Margo in Le Mars features Singer's band.

Stellingwert Seeks More Time On Acreage Proposal
At a city council meeting Ed Stellingwert declined to set a price for 14.9 acres adjoining New Deal park, five acres for a new National Guard Armory, and asked for more time to think. Greenwood drive residents questioned delays in payments and were told engineers’ estimates are not yet returned.
