An auction of household furniture and appliances is set for Saturday May 11 at Frerichs Auction House downtown Le Mars 26 Ply. St. SW at 1 30 p m. Frerichs and Weber advertise the sale with notices in the Daily Sentinel and Floyd Valley News.
Norman Heeren expresses sincere thanks to all who remembered him with cards gifts flowers and personal visits during his hospital stay and after returning home. He especially thanks Rev Mueller doctors and nurses for their services and care.
Mary Lucille Obermire MT ASCP daughter of Mr and Mrs J H Obermire Lé Mars was chosen secretary for the Colorado State Society of Medical Technologists. She will serve a one year term on the state executive committee. A Briar Cliff College graduate she works at Colorado Springs Medical Center. The report also notes a Gehlin Home School meeting and a spring chorus concert at Gehlen with large student choirs and free admission.
