Osawatomie Church Hosts Mental Health Panel
Osawatomie State Hospital patients joined a panel on mental health during the May Fellowship Day of Church Women United. Eighty five members from sixteen churches attended the meeting at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with a church breakfast preceding the discussion moderated by Frank H Bowker, coordinator of Osawatomie's adjunctive therapy program.

Deerfield Girls Scout Troops 649 and 691 camped at Hidden Valley over the weekend. They held an evening campfire and hikes while earning badges in Indian Lore Dancer and Troop Dramatics and completing requirements for Sign of the Arrow.
