Art in Park Show Scheduled Sunday
The eighth annual Art in the Park Festival runs noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in South Park with 350 items from amateur and professional artists across all media. Accident Victim Listed as Good After One-Vehicle Crash
Richard J. Zasadny, 18, of 1146 Tenn. St., is reported in good condition at Watkins Memorial Hospital after a Thursday afternoon crash about 2 1/2 miles south and 2 miles west of Lawrence. He was a KU freshman riding with Edward E. Teeter, 22, who was treated and released at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Teeter’s car skidded and struck a tree stump after losing control on a curve, per the Kansas Highway Patrol.
