Parsnips roasted with maple and garlic. Tossed with salt and oil, then baked 45 minutes until tender and browned, sprinkled with pepper and maple sugar for a final 5 minutes. Serves six to eight. Recipe from The Associated Press.
Two pound lamb shanks seared in olive oil then moved to a medium heat. Add garlic onion peppers tomatoes parsnips baby carrots and vegetable stock with salt and pepper to taste.
