Black Lutherans Seek Reformation and Pluralist Strategy
The Association of Black Lutheran Churchmen calls for a radical reformation of white Lutheran churches and a pluralist approach in a pluralistic society. It urges Black and white Christians to work together under Christ with different methodologies, establishing a national office and budget to push toward emancipation and reconciliation. The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Board responds as open to consultation while not endorsing all ABLC statements.
