4 H Club News Highlights From Area Meetings
The What's Cooking Club met at Mrs. Willis Bucher to plan, recite the pledge, and share reports on cup custards. Denise Jurell demonstrated candle decorating, and dessert items were prepared by several members. July 27 is set for the next meeting at the Bucher residence.

4H Sewing Club July meetings and cooking bake sale
The Lititz Manheim 4H Sewing Club held its seventh meeting at Warwick High School on July 19 with 45 members. President Judy Buckwalter led the pledge and plans were made for August tours of Morgan Paper Company and Graybill's Dairy. A bake sale and bake items were prepared for a July 27 noon event at Penn Manor Junior High, with members choosing banana bread muffins or biscuits and beverages.

Donegal 4-H Sewing Club Meets
Frances Bixler reports the fifth Donegal Sewing 4-H Club meeting led by president Florence Bixler with the club pledge. Carol Hess sang, Lou Ann Hess led roll, 21 girls answered with their favorite tree. Rebecca Kling spoke on State Dress Review and Carol Hess shared a public speaking win on education. Kathy Ney and Audrey Yunginger demonstrated minerals and salts for cattle. Three Massachusetts Exchange 4-H Horse guests attended.
