New Grade Standard Proposed for Poultry
USDA proposes a special grade US Grade A for Further Processing to reflect high meat yield with allowances for appearance defects in turkeys intended for processing. Ducks with missing wing portions could still rate Grade A, while geese rules remain. Public comment due by August 6 1973 with copies to AMS Washington DC.
