Tomatoes Grow Taller In Lititz As Rain Aids Vines
Local tomato growers in Lititz claim vines have surged in height due to damp weather. George Keehn reports a seven foot vine with a foot and a half growth in a week, Hob Keener touts a nearly nine foot vine, and Paul Floy cites a tall vine behind his South Broad Street business. They monitor growth with tape measures ahead of next week's press time.
