Lancaster Opera House to receive seven figure grant upgrade
Lancaster Opera House on Central Avenue will receive 1.15 million dollars as part of New York State Forward Grant funding to revitalize the village. Upgrades include exterior and interior renovations, improved audience experience, a lobby bar, stage safety railings, window replacements, and a switch to LED lighting, reflecting ongoing renovations since the building’s 1897 construction.
