Lancaster grants boost walking and biking projects
The Town of Hamburg and the Village of Lancaster receive TAP funding to expand pedestrian and bicycle networks as part of a $97.7 million statewide program run by the New York State Department of Transportation. Senator Patrick Galvin called the effort a path to cleaner, safer communities. The Lancaster share includes 3.39 million to close gaps along Central Avenue, part of a broader 13 towns and 10 villages statewide.
