The CKSO station plans a Page 3 feature to mark its 50th anniversary. Staff say the commemorative program will highlight key milestones, notable broadcasts, and longtime listeners across the community.

Tammy Tideswell, a 30-year Navy veteran from Milton Drive in Lancaster, says non navigable waters threaten her home as flooding crosses Milton and Harvey drives. She cites unclear land control between Lancaster village and town, tracing the problem to Milton Pond and a berm created in the 1990s.
Patty Meekes of Citizens Against Wind Turbines in Lake Erie spoke at the Town of Lancaster Board meeting, warning wind energy could enter Lake Erie, threaten water quality for 11 million residents, and require lake bed dredging that could release heavy metal toxins. She noted the group backs bills with NY Assembly, Senate and Congress and seeks local resolutions.
