Schroeder Declared Victor In Lancaster Trustee Race
Bill Schroeder won the Lancaster trustee runoff after a recount by the Erie County Board of Elections. Initial March 19 results tied at 248 votes each. runoff totals gave Schroeder 374 to Santoro 362. Results were certified at a village meeting and filed with the clerk’s office starting Schroeder’s term.

Festival of Short Plays to Spotlight Local Talent at St Marys
The Inclusive Theater of WNY will stage the Festival of Short Plays at 7 30 p m Friday April 12 at St Marys High School in Lancaster. The annual event offers local actors and playwrights of all abilities a space to present work and refine craft. Artistic director Dallas Taylor says the festival aims to let people bask in their talent and spotlight. The festival will feature nine short works.
