County Board, Adana Crossing Bridge Plan Discussed
Residents debate the fate of a fall petition to build a bridge near Grant’s bond eos river. Ander son bounty adds a tow ferry below Maxwell’s ott ferry. Moving the ferry three miles upriver could place it on a straight line from Seagoa to Anderson, easing approaches from either side. A final graded road could bring Seneca 4 or 6 miles closer, with minimal new roadwork. The plan would affect cotton yields and redistribute traffic away from Maxwell’s Ferry, which benefits Doonee county.
